1962-66 Attended Ohio State University, studied concert harp with Jean Eason Harriman; received B. Sc. in Art Education

1977 Attended Suzuki Harp Workshop in Iowa, Mary Kay Waddington, instructor

1977 Began playing Celtic harp

1982 Founded the Washington DC Area Folk Harp Society; President 1982-98

1985, 88, 90, 94 Won the Scottish Harp Society of America (SHSA) National Championship

1989-92 President, SHSA; Vice President 1992-98

1992 Won the Belfast Harp Festival Commemoration Competition, Philadelphia

1994 Won the Washington Area Music Association Award (WAMMIE) for
Morning Aire -- Best Traditional Album
and Album of the Year
